Netflix Shows That Everyone Should Watch

Netflix is one of the biggest premium subscription service provider that nowadays produces original movies, documentaries, series, dramas and any other demand based entertainment services and ask very little monthly or yearly subscriptions for it. Apart from it, there are thousands upon thousands of already released movies, documentaries, and series without any ad breaks.

Recent phenomenon like covid pandemic and its consequences on global society and global culture like 'work from home', and 'remote working' have increased and shown the potential for these on demand video subscriptions platforms. The popularity and mass adaption of this platform can be attribute to its low rates compared to its competitors and its wide range, genre of content it overs.

All you have to do is to make a account on this that platform and than login into you're netflix account and you're good to go to see netflix movies and best movies that are available on netflix, best netflix series,
orginal new movies netflix movies or watch your favourite and best shows on netflix all with a single account.

Given the recent global popularity of this platform, its only fair to judge that are thousands and thousands shows that shouldn't be watched by anyone. Orginal shows that are soley available on this platform include famous shows like money heist, strangers thing and maid all by netflix.

Listing on this list will be done regardless of the fact what genre these movies, series, documentaries belong too, I'll also give direct quotation from user reviews that are publicly available on the internet.

Here are the 5 shows that should be watched on netflix by everyone.

1) Seinfeld

Although this show ended more than 20 years ago, it still going strong on platfroms like netflix. After airing for 9 years and airing 9 seasons on american cable network NBC, it had a cultural impact on american pshyc and now its opening up to global audience. The show was so popular and resonated with audiences at that time beacuse it was one of the first shows to adopt a more non linear episodic style. Plus the plot and stories are losely adapted from real life experiences of main characters personal lives. The show is often at the top off all ranking (made by experts and amateurs) in best, most rememarble and most impactful sitcom ever to be made.

The show centres around comedians freinds that live in a manhattan apartment building and their day to day life. More to it, there's no single point of attention in the show that show is centred around but rather mindfully focusing on minute details of life that are often ignored in our day to day life. It was probably one the first shows to properly use throwbacks to drive the plot and thus making the plot move forward, add to that presence of guest stars and great comedic writers makes up for a very good show.

¹) - "One of, if not, THE BEST SITCOM EVER! This show makes you laugh like no other; with more crazy plots, hilarious acting & legendary writing"

Another online review said :

²) - "The best part is that no one learns any lessons and so the show is just focused on great comedy! This show is the Master Of Its Domain, a great show to watch during the Summer Of George and will be thoroughly enjoyed by young and old alike for years to come!"

³) - "A simple premise...a guy in an apartment with a zany neighbour across the hall and two best friends, they would all drop by to visit unannounced from time to time...so simple...their interactions and conversations looked like "nothing" but really this tiny little show was about "everything"...the detailed observations were phenomenal...which often made it hilarious".

You'll instantly fall for this show if you're into subtle comedy, irony and situational comedy that's made from awkward moments. This show in its entirety is available on netflix, even available in other languages with subtitles and dubbing.

2) Ottoman And WW2 In Colors

There are two different netflix original shows that I have clubbed together because they belong to the same genre.
I'll talk about these two show separately but I'll put both under the same heading.

First, ottoman, or is its full name is "Rise of Empires: Ottoman" is a show about orgin of the ottoman empire and its most impactful ruler "Mehmed 2". It's a story of how he single handlely defeated byzantine forces and captured religiously, historical and strategically significant city of Constantinople (now called called Istanbul).

It's a historically accurate drama that has actual Turkish actors playing the characters. In total, the show has 6 episodes, every episode dealing with other historical events and portrays it in beautiful way. Probably the best thing about this show is that it alteast tries to portray

The viewers have given overall postive response to this show and it now has more 85 rating on rotten tomatoes. A viewer wrote:

"Well acted, well shot, with great scholarly commentary. I particularly enjoyed the story of Sultan Mehmed II growing up from being a child lost in the mire of Ottoman dynastic politics, and having lost his mother early on, to pulling off one of the greatest victories of all time with the fall of Constantinople, the last vestige of the Roman Empire and one of the most powerful and fortified cities of the era".

Well now talk about the second one I.e WW2 in Colors. Full name of this show is "WW2 In Colors: Road To Victory". WW2 is probably the most important event that has had repurction even to this day, that's why it's important to understand World War 2.

The coloured images and videos provides life to otherwise dull and boring videos that with expert analysis of events and personalities that shaped the conflict makes whole series more than tempting.
The series consists of ten part episodes that take a peak inside events and individuals that shaped the bloodiest event in the human history.

A user wrote in their review :

"From the beginning I was hooked. The way the show details the events, the strategies, the beautiful footage, interviews, etc was gripping and I binge watched the show over 2 days. It goes into the psychology of the most important people and what led to their decisions. It takes into account the culture of the individual countries at the time and is filled with suspense and twists. It was also very informative, I knew a little bit about WWII from high school classes, but this really helped fill in the gaps in a satisfying way. I feel like I've learned more than in the 2 days of watching this show than I would in a year of study. If you are slightly interested in the events of WWII and want a dramatic narrative of the most important events, this show is for you".

3) Monty Python

If your are comedic fan or even aware of comedic hisory it's a must that you've heard about monty python, now it's even considered comedic gold.

Here's a quick summary and background of what show is about. It's a historical fantasy series that was made in 1975 and tells story different historical stories with great comedic parodies and situation.
There are in total eight movies dealing with different timespan and events of history. Movies concerning 'Birth Of Jesus' and 'King Arthur' among the favourites of the audiences.

A reviewer wrote on rotten tomatoes

"Easily the most hilarious and original comedy ever made, Monty Python and the Holy Grail claims it's undisputed throne through insanely ridiculous situations and characters that will very likely never be duplicated. Pure comedic genius that doesn't go stale with age or decades of competition having been released. Simply seeing the way comedy films are made today, this film will very likely have a long reign before anything can even hold a candle to it. An absolute belly-laugh fest that never lets up".

they added

"Did I mention that the acting is also very good for a movie of this sort. All of the main characters, as they do in the series, take on numerous characters, all of whom are well established and each have their quirks about them. This was a well written, well thought out, and perfectly directed, low budget comedy. The funniest of any monty python film, and amongst the top comedies of all time. I laughed from beginning to end and bruised one of my lungs. I highly recommend this film to anyone. This is living proof that all you need is a good script and good actors. Ridiculous characters in ridiculous situations equals ridiculous laughter. The epitome of all-star comedy that will no doubt continue to stand the test of time. Kudos to Gilliam and the rest of the Python crew. If you haven't seen it yet, make it your first priority in life"!

Netflix doesn't have all the eight movies but it sure has most and best movies among them.
